Chink Zachary, a pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1944, died on June 24, 2006, in Rome, N.Y. He was 92.

Also listed as Al Zachary, he made his debut on April 25, 1944. He pitched 10.1 innings in four games including two starts. His major league totals include a 9.58 ERA and three strikeouts.

According to his obituary, he later worked as a scout for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves.
