Ken Weafer, who pitched in one game for the Boston Braves in 1936, died on June 4, 2004 in Guilderland, New York.

Weafer was 22 years old when he appeared in his lone game in the majors on May 29, 1936. He pitched three innings, allowing four earned runs and giving up six hits.

He attended Duke University and he played for the Toledo Mud Hens in 1935.
