Brian Lee Traxler

Brian Traxler, who played in nine games for the Dodgers in 1990, died on Nov. 19, 2004 in San Antonio, Texas. He was 37.
Traxler's debut with the Dodgers came on April 24, 1990 and he collected one hit in 11 at-bats. His last game in the major leagues came on May 21, 1990.
He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 16th round of the 1988 amateur draft.
His career also included playing for the San Antonio Missions. According to his obituary, Traxler hit .346 for the Missions in 1989, hitting nine home runs and driving in 44 runs. In 1990, he hit .256 with seven home runs and drove in 61 runs.
In 1994, he played for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks in Japan.
He most recently had served as a hitting coach for the Rookie League Dodgers in Vero Beach, Fla.
