He made his debut with the Detroit Tigers in 1989. His most productive season came in 1993 with the Texas Rangers when he hit .256 with 7 home runs and 60 runs batted in. In 1997, he hit .257 and had a career-high 12 home runs with the Expos. In 2000, he played for the Greenville Braves, the AA team in his hometown.
