John Stoneham, an outfielder who played in 10 games in the major leagues, died on Jan. 1, 2004 in Owasso, Okla.

Stoneham was 24 years old when he made his debut with the Chicago White Sox on Sept. 18, 1933.  He collected 3 hits in 25 at-bats that season, including a home run.
