He debuted in 1984 with the Orioles at the age of 32. Snell worked primarily as a set-up man for the Orioles in 1985 and 1986. In 1985, he pitched 100.1 innings and finished with a 3-2 record, 5 saves and a 2.69 earned run average. The next year, in 1986, he finished with a 2-1 record in 72.1 innings pitched and had a 3.86 earned run average. His last year in the majors came in 1987 with the Detroit Tigers. He finished with a 1-2 record in 38.2 innings pitched. |
