Pete Sivess, who pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1936-1938, died on June 1, 2003.

In 62 games in the majors, Sivess pitched in 204 innings with a 7-11 record, 3 saves and a 5.38 ERA.

He debuted in 1936 with a 3-4 record in 65 innings. His work included six starts and he posted a 4.57 ERA.

He began the 1937 season with Baltimore of the International League, posting a 15-5 record. He appeared briefly with the Phillies later that season. In 1938, he was 3-6 with a 5.51 ERA in 116 innings in 29 games and he posted 3 saves.
