Buck Rogers, who pitched two games for Washington in 1935, died on Feb. 20, 1999 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Rogers pitched two games in 1935 -- the first on Sept. 15 and his final one on Sept. 24. In those two games, including one start, he finished with an 0-1 record in 10 innings pitched. He struck out seven batters and allowed eight earned runs.
