Culley Rikard, an outfielder who played in 3 seasons in the major leagues with Pittsburgh, died on February 25, 2000.

In his career, he hit .270 with 4 home runs and 37 RBIs in 153 games.  His most productive season came in 1947 when he hit .287 in 324 at-bats for the Pirates.  That season he hit 4 home runs and drove in 32 runs.
