Les Peden played in nine games for the Washington Senators in 1953, collecting 7 hits in 28 at-bats with 1 HR and 1RBI.
He made it to the majors nearly 10 years after serving in World War II in 1943-45.
Following his playing career, Peden became a manager in minor league baseball. In 1962, he managed the Portland Beavers to a 74-80 record and managed the team for part of the 1963 season. In 1964, he led Quincy of the Midwest League.
