Red Nonnenkamp, who played in 4 seasons in the major leagues, died on Dec. 3, 2000.

Nonnenkamp made his debut with Pittsburgh in 1933, taking 1 at-bat in a single game. He returned to the majors with Boston in 1938 and played in 154 games over the next 3 seasons.
