Roy Nichols played in 11 games for the New York Giants in 1944. He died on April 3, 2002. 

He spent 12 years in professional baseball including his time with the Giants in 1944. He was also listed as a player-manager in the Brooklyn Dodgers organization.

After baseball, he worked for 34 years with PPG Industries.
