Pete Naktenis, who pitched briefly for two seasons in the major leagues in the 1930s, died on Aug. 1, 2003 in Singer Island, Fla.
He made his debut in 1936 with the Philadelphia Athletics and pitched in seven games. He pitched in three more games in 1939 for Cincinnati.
His career numbers include a 0-1 record and a 10.72 ERA in 22.2 innings pitched.
