Bill Miller, who pitched in the major leagues from 1952-1955, died July 1, 2003, from congestive heart failure. He was 75.

He debuted with the New York Yankees in 1952 and pitched in a career high 21 games that season. He was 4-6 with a 3.48 ERA in 88 innings.

Miller appeared in 41 games between 1952 and 1955. He was 6-9 with five complete games and two shutouts in his career, which he closed out with Baltimore.

The New York Yankees won the World Series in 1952 and 1953. Miller, however, did not appear in the World Series.

In 40 at-bats, he collected 9 hits (a .225 average) and drove in 3 runs.
