Pat McLaughlin, who pitched in 12 games in the major leagues over a span of nine years, died on Nov. 1, 1999 in Houston, Texas.
He was 26 years old when he debuted with the Detroit Tigers in 1937 and he appeared in 10 games that season. He appeared again in the majors for one game in 1940 with the Philadelphia Athletics and then for one more game with the Tigers in 1945.
