Fred Marsh, an infielder who played in parts of seven seasons in Major League Baseball, died on October 26, 2006 in Corry, Pa.

Marsh made his debut in 1949 with Cleveland. He hit .239 in his career with 10 home runs and 96 RBI.

His best season came in 1951 with the St. Louis Browns. Marsh hit .243 with four home runs and 43 RBIs. He played in 130 games that season.

His career included Cleveland (1949), St.Louis AL (1951-1952), Washington (1952), Chicago AL (1953-1954) and Baltimore AL (1955-1956).
