Bob Malloy, who pitched in 48 games over five seasons in the major leagues, died on Feb. 20, 2007 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He pitched to a 4-7 record with two saves in 116 innings pitched. He posted a career 3.26 ERA and 35 strikeouts.

His most productive season came in 1946 with Cincinnati. Malloy pitched 72 innings, posting a 2-5 record with two saves and 24 strikeouts.
