Part-Owner of Suns, Diamondbacks Dies 

Eddie Lynch, an ownership partner in the Phoenix Suns of the NBA and the Arizona Diamondbacks of MLB, died Oct. 14, 2002 at the age of 67. He had suffered a stroke.

He was a businessman and a graduate of the University of Arizona. He donated funds to build the Eddie Lynch Athletic Pavilion Plaza at the school. 

Lynch was a partner in the investment group that helped to bring the Diamondbacks to Arizona.
