Pat Luby, a pitcher and outfielder, played baseball in the 19th Century as a member of the Chicago and Louisville franchises in the old National League.
In 4 years in professional baseball, Luby hit .235 with 7 home runs, 70 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases. He played in 20 games in the outfield, 8 at first base and 106 as a pitcher.
