Cal Hogue, who pitched in 25 games in the major leagues, died on Aug. 5, 2005 in Kettering, Ohio.

Hogue was 2-10 in his major league career with a 4.91 ERA in 113.2 innings pitched. He pitched for the Pirates from 1952-1954.
