Tom Herrin, who won a game as a major league pitcher, died on Nov. 20, 1999 in Homer, La.

He was 24 years old when he made his major league debut on April 13, 1954 with the Boston Red Sox. In his only season in the majors, Herrin was 1-2 in 14 games with a 7.31 ERA.
