Stokes Hendrix

Stokes Hendrix, who pitched in the Negro Leagues, died on Feb. 4, 2003, at the age of 89.

Hendrix pitched for the Nashville Elite Giants in 1934. Some sources list him as also pitching for the Baltimore Elite Giants and Detroit Starts.

Following his career in baseball, he formed a Little League Club in Nashville and was the head coach for 20 years.
