Mark Price Freeman

Mark Freeman, who finished with a 3-3 record in 34 games, died on Feb. 21, 2006 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He was 75.
He pitched 87.1 innings in the majors and finished with a 3-3 record, a save, 55 strikeouts a 5.56 ERA. He pitched for New York (AL), Kansas City and Chicago (NL).
In April 1959, he was traded by the Yankees to Kansas City for Jack Urban. In May 1959, both players were returned to their original teams.
He was traded to the Cubs in May 1960 for Art Ceccarelli. Ceccarelli never appeared in the majors again.
His most productive season in the majors came with Cubs in 1960. He pitched 76.2 innings, posting a 3-3 record and a 5.63 ERA.
