Miguel del Toro, who pitched for the San Francisco Giants in 1999 and 2000, died on Oct. 6, 2001 in an automobile accident in Mexico.
He finished his career with a 2-0 record and a 4.61 ERA in 41 innings. He pitched 1 inning in the 1999 Division Series against the Mets, striking out two batters and not allowing a run.
