Ed Chaplin's career was spent as a part-time catcher for the Boston Red Sox from 1920-22. Chaplin appeared in 35 games in three years and finished with 14 hits in 78 at-bats.
His most productive season came in 1922 when he hit .188 with 2 doubles, a triple and six runs batted in. He also stole two bases in three attempts.
