Castleman debuted for the Giants in 1934 and pitched for the team until 1939 when an injury ended his career. He compiled a career record of 36-26 and a 4.25 record and his best season came in 1935 when he finished 15-6 with a 4.09 ERA. He pitched in the 1936 World Series against the Yankees, posting a 2.08 ERA in 4.1 innings with 5 strikeouts. |
