Charlie Brewster, who collected 14 RBIs in 3 years in the majors, died on Oct. 1, 2000.

Brewster debuted on May 29, 1943 with the Reds and played in seven games before the Red traded him to the Athletics on June 6 for Dain Clay.

Between Cincinnati and Philadelphia, Brewster hit .216 in 167 at-bats with 12 RBI and a stolen base.  He drove in 2 runs in 1944 in 44 at-bats.

His career included stops with Cincinnati (1943), Philadelphia AL (1943), Chicago NL (1944) and Cleveland (1946).
