He was 93. Boyles was 24 when he made his debut with the White Sox on Aug. 3, 1938. He pitched 29.1 innings that season, posting an 0-4 record and a save with a 5.22 ERA. He pitched 3.1 innings in two games for the White Sox in 1939. |
