Harry Boyles, who pitched 11 games in the major leagues in the 1930s, died on Jan. 7, 2005 in McAllen, Texas. He was 93.
Boyles was 24 when he made his debut with the White Sox on Aug. 3, 1938. He pitched 29.1 innings that season, posting an 0-4 record and a save with a 5.22 ERA.
He pitched 3.1 innings in two games for the White Sox in 1939.
