Ed Bahr, who pitched for two years for Pittsburgh in the 1940s, died on April 6, 2007 in Seattle, Wash.
Bahr's career totals include an 11-11 record and a 3.37 ERA in 219 innings pitched. His numbers include 69 strikeouts.
He was 26 when he made his debut with Pittsburgh in 1946. That season, he was 8-6 with a 2.63 ERA in 136.2 innings pitched. The next season, he was 3-5 with a 4.59 ERA in 83.1 innings pitched.
In May 1949, Pittsburgh traded him, along with Grady Wilson, to the Brooklyn Dodgers for Nanny Fernandez.
