Anderson made his debut on Aug. 17, 1958 with the Phillies. He pitched 16 innings that season and posted a 7.88 ERA. In 1960, he pitched 4.2 innings in four games for Baltimore. He was back in the major leagues with St. Louis in 1952, pitching 6.1 innings in five games. In May 1962, the Cardinals traded Anderson, along with Carl Warwick, to the Houston Colt .45's for Bobby Shantz. He finished the season with Houston, pitching 24 innings in 15 games and posting a 5.09 ERA. |
